Welcome to RelayWorldRecord.com! To show our support for the Loveland High School Pool, we are attempting to break the Guinness World Record for most swimmers in a continuous 24-hour relay! The current record was set in January in South Africa.

ANNOUNCEMENT: The World Record Relay attempt has been rescheduled for the Spring.

The decision has been based on registering enough swimmers for the event to serve both the World Record Attempt and to be a viable fundraiser.

The Relay concept has been well received but more information to the public and an improved awareness of the event is needed. Today we have web presence outlining the goal, on line registration, donation opportunities established, t-shirt design and samples created, public awareness further developed and a core group of participants registered. We thank all those that have participated thus far.

In addition, there have been many great suggestions on getting the word out to a larger audience and organizing a fun 24 hours dedicated to the Loveland High Pool. A meeting for any interested supporters is being organized to help further the event in the spring and the date and location for these meetings will be announced soon.

We hope you join us when we try to break the record in April, 2010!
